COURSES

The Laboratory supports undergraduate and postgraduate courses by providing students the vital hardware and software means (equipment and technologies).

Through the taught courses, the NETLAB develops the skills and simulation/hands-on practical experience needed to design, construct, operate, and organize networks/systems in small-to-medium businesses, as well as enterprise environments.

The NETLAB promotes and facilitates students to acquire international certifications by attending innovative programs that provide knowledge and skills in Information and Communication Technologies (ICT).

In particular, the NETLAB serves students to acquire CISCO certifications (CCNA Routing and Switching, CCNA Security, CCNP, IT Essentials), by supporting the Frederick CISCO Networking Academy.

More, the Laboratory supports students’ skills attending in IP Erasmus European projects, like “Secure Web Applications” (2012-2014), and “Security in ICT” (2007-2009).
