New conference paper accepted for publication!
Our paper "Holo-Block Chain: A Hybrid Approach for Secured IoT Healthcare Ecosystem" has been accepted for publication at the 18th International Conference on Wireless and Mobile Computing, Networking and Communications (IEEE WiMob 2022), technically co-sponsored by IEEE, to be held in Thessaloniki, Greece, October 10-12, 2022.

Mr. Chukwuemeka Paul Henry, PhD Student, after being selected and invited by the EU-CONEXUS (European University for Smart Urban Coastal Sustainability), participated to the 2nd EU-CONEXUS PhD Summer School in Open Science held at the Catholic University of Valencia, Spain, from July 18 to July 22, 2022.

Mr. Chukwuemeka Paul Henry, PhD Candidate, after being selected and invited by the EU-CONEXUS (European University for Smart Urban Coastal Sustainability), participated to the 2nd EU-CONEXUS PhD Summer School in Open Science held at the Catholic University of Valencia, Spain, from July 18 to July 22, 2022.

2020:
Session's Best Presenter Certificate, nominated for presenting the paper "An Energy-Efficient Machine-Type Communication for Maritime Internet of Things" at the 11th Annual IEEE Information Technology, Electronics and Mobile Communication Conference (IEMCON 2020), held in Vancouver, Canada, November 4-7, 2020.

2020:
Best paper award, nominated for the paper "Social-Aware Clustering for D2D Multicast Content Sharing in 5G Networks", at the 2020 IEEE Global Information Infrastructure and Networking Symposium (GIIS 2020), held in Tunis, Tunisia, October 28-30, 2020.

2017:
Best paper award, nominated for the paper "QoS analysis for WebRTC videoconference on bandwidth-limited network", at the 20th International Symposium on Wireless Personal Multimedia Communications (WPMC 2017), technically co-sponsored by IEEE, held in Bali, Indonesia, December 17-20, 2017 [awarded as one of the best papers of the conference].

2017:
Mr. Rafay Iqbal Ansari, PhD Candidate, after being selected and invited by the IEEE Communications Society, participated to the 2017 IEEE ComSoc Summer School held in University of New Mexico, Albuquerque, NM, USA, from July 17 to July 20, 2017.

2017:
Mr. Rafay Iqbal Ansari, PhD Candidate, was nominated by CYNET for the IT Students' Lightning Talk Challenge, as part of the GEANT Future Talent Fund (FTF) initiatives, that took place in Linz, Austria, 29 May - 2 June 2017.

2016:
Mr. Rafay Iqbal Ansari, PhD Candidate, as a member of the team "SherPak", won the third place in Ericsson Innovation Awards 2016, selected among 843 teams worldwide, with "SmartWindows Communication" project idea.
