New conference paper accepted for publication!
Our paper "Holo-Block Chain: A Hybrid Approach for Secured IoT Healthcare Ecosystem" has been accepted for publication at the 18th International Conference on Wireless and Mobile Computing, Networking and Communications (IEEE WiMob 2022), technically co-sponsored by IEEE, to be held in Thessaloniki, Greece, October 10-12, 2022.
Mr. Chukwuemeka Paul Henry, PhD Student, after being selected and invited by the EU-CONEXUS (European University for Smart Urban Coastal Sustainability), participated to the 2nd EU-CONEXUS PhD Summer School in Open Science held at the Catholic University of Valencia, Spain, from July 18 to July 22, 2022.

PEOPLE
Currently, three faculty members are under the NETLAB with research expertise on computer networks and communication systems that includes 5G/6G networks, Internet of Things, Intrusion detection systems, Cloud/Fog/Edge Computing, Computational Intelligence, and Multi-objective optimization. Also, a number of BSc/MSc/PhD students and PostDoc researchers are members of the NETLAB. Specifically, three PhD students, with emphasis in Radio Resource Allocation and Reliability in the Industrial Internet of Things (IoT) Utilizing Software Defined Networking (SDN) based Virtualized Fog Computing Radio Access Networks in 5G-and-beyond Wireless Environments, Privacy and Trust in the Maritime Internet of Things (IoT) Communication Domain, and Intelligent Code Offloading on Edge Computing-based Internet of Things (IoT); one PostDoc research fellow, with emphasis in Computational and Network Communication Resource Constraints Handling in Multimedia Internet of Things; two research fellows, with emphasis in Privacy-perseverance and security framework for the Healthcare IoT systems, and in Intelligent coordination among base stations for next generation heterogeneous communication networks; a number of local MSc and BSc students. Further, the NETLAB has a number of internal and external collaborators.
